John Deere Diesel Exhaust Fluid joins the line-up of quality service fluids from John Deere; joining Plus-50 II, Hy-Gard, and Cool-Gard II. Make it simple for your customers to have one source for their maintenance fluids.
DEF, or Diesel Exhaust Fluid, is used in a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system to remove nitrogen oxides (NOx) from engine exhaust. DEF is 32.5 percent high purity urea and 67.5 percent deionized water. This ratio provides the lowest possible freeze point. With John Deere DEF you can be confident you are getting a high quality product that will provide unsurpassed performance while protecting your equipment investment.
Applications
John Deere DEF is compatible with all engines using Selective Catalytic Reduction after-treatment technology. This includes John Deere engines and equipment, off-road and stationary equipment, on-road trucks, and automobiles. John Deere Diesel Exhaust Fluid may also be used in marine applications specifying 32.5% urea concentration.
